Formula-specific formatting
MathGrid allows you to control the formatting of each formula result individually. This includes settings for thousand separators and decimal places, so you can tailor the display of numbers to your needs and regional preferences.
Thousand separators
- Enable or disable thousand separators for each formula by checking Use thousand separators.
- When enabled, numbers like 1000 will be displayed with separators according to your regional settings:
- Comma decimal: 1.000,00
- Dot decimal: 1,000.00
- The choice between comma or dot decimal is determined by the regional number setting in the Settings tab.
- This setting is saved with each formula and only affects that formula’s output.
Decimal places
- Set the number of decimal places for each formula using the +/- buttons next to Decimal places.
- Select full (below zero decimals) to display numbers without rounding.
- Each formula can have its own decimal place setting, even within the same table.
